2.
Remove the refrigerating container from the freezer (wear gloves or use a cloth to avoid
cold “burns”) and place it on a stable support base. The container should be used
immediately after removal from the freezer.
3.
Fit the lid, motor unit, shaft and spatula together (see paragraph “OPERATION”). Fix the lid
to the freezing bowl.
4.
Put the plug into the current socket and press the 0/I button to “I” to make the spatula
rotate. Now, immediately but gradually pour the ice cream mixture into the container
through the hole in the lid, without dripping and wetting the motor: the mixture must not
pass over half the volume of the container. Mix for around 40-60 minutes: the time
depends on the desired consistency (the longer the time, the more frozen the product will
be). Remember that homemade ice cream does not have the same consistency as that
bought in a shop; in fact, it is softer.
5.
During preparation, you can add fine chocolate chips, raisins or other ingredients:
alcoholic liquids are added almost at the end (they slow down cooling).
6.
At the end, turn off using the switch, remove the plug from the socket, turn the lid
anticlockwise and lift it to remove it from the bowl. To serve the cold dessert, remove it
using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon (do not use metal objects). Now serve
immediately.
7.
The ice cream can be left in the container to become hard in the freezer for a brief period
(no longer than 30 minutes). For long term freezing, we recommend using a container with
a lid (several hours in the freezer are necessary for the ice cream to become hard). The
conservation period can be 1 or 2 weeks. This time depends on whether the ingredients
used are “natural” or “semi-cooked”.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and remove the plug from the current socket.
It is important for the container and all the components to be well washed immediately after
use, to prevent the formation of bacteria or unpleasant smells.
When cleaning the container, spatula, lid and pin, use water with a normal detergent for
dishes, and rub with a soft sponge (do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive products).
Rinse carefully and dry completely. The temperature of the water must not exceed 40°C.
Clean the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
Periodically check that the electrical cord is not damaged. A special tool is needed to
replace it: contact an authorised assistance centre also for any necessary repairs.
When you decide to dispose of the appliance, please go to a municipal collecting point.
We recommend that you make the appliance inoperative by cutting the power cord (but
first make sure you have removed the plug from the electrical outlet), and that you do not
break open the refrigerating container.
