A static residual current causes the device to
shut down. The shutdown threshold is determ-
ined by the power class and the relevant regu-
lations. For devices in USA/Canada (with UL
certification), the device can be reconnected a
maximum of 4 times within 24h. F78 therefore
stops once the 5th fault is triggered within
24h.
If the fault tends to
occur in the event
of precipitation or
high levels of hu-
midity, this indic-
ates the presence of
an insulation fault
on the DC side of
the plant -> check
the DC cabling in
the plant!

lated prior to activation.
