Other Feature s
You can select whether to ena b le the operation sound as well
as illumination of the tally lamp.
Operation s ound
S et using [OPERATION S OUND] in the [CAMERA
S ETTING S ] menu. ( A Page 66)
When this is set to [ON], operation sound is output from the
b uilt-in speaker.
If a headphone is connected, no operation sound will b e
output from b oth the b uilt-in speaker and headphone.
Tally lamp
S et using [TALLY] in the [CAMERA S ETTING S ] menu.

When this is set to [ON], the tally lamp lights up in the
recording mode.
The hour meter displays the total time during which the
power of the camcorder is turned on.

Select [HOUR METER] in the [DISPLAY SETTINGS]
menu. ( A Page 65)

Pre ss the center of the Set Lever.

The hour meter appears.

Pre ss the center of the Set Lever again.

Returns to the menu screen.
You can reset the menu settings to their default values.
However, the time code/user
’ s b it, date/time, and hour meter
cannot b e reset.

Select [RESET ALL MENU] in the [CAMERA
SETTINGS] menu.

Pre ss the center of the Set Lever.

The [RE S ET ALL MENU] screen appears.

Re s tore the default s etting s .
Push the S et Lever up or down to select [EXECUTE].
Next, press the center of the S et Lever.

The menu screen closes, and the settings are reset to
their default values.
The camcorder re
b oots automatically if there are changes
in the [ S Y S TEM S ELECT] menu.
