3 Familiarising yourself with the control options
One-off settings before and during preparation always follow this
model.
Example : Proceed as follows to prepare a strong cup of coffee.
Precondition :
READY
is displayed.
Place a cup under the coffee spout.

Touch the Strong symbol.
STRONG
is displayed for about two seconds. The Strong
symbol is active.

Touch the Coffee symbol.
1 COFFEE
is displayed for about two seconds. The Coffee
symbol is active.
READY
. T
Touch the Start symbol.
Preparation will now begin.
1 COFFEE
appears on the dis-
play. The pre-set amount of water flows into the cup. You
can follow the current status of preparation on the progress
bar.
Preparation stops automatically and
READY
appears on
the display.
