The backwashing water flow must be adjusted via the stroke limiter of the pneumatic
drive to approximately 30% of the rated flow (see Chapter 3.5)!
Delivery status of the shut-off valve: Setting at approx. 45°.
If necessary, release the counter nuts of the stroke limiter on both sides of the pneumatic drive.
Move the pneumatic drive to position “Closed”. See position indicator.
Fully screw home the stroke limiter on one side of the pneumatic drive using an Allen key.
Fully screw out the stroke limiter on the opposite side of the pneumatic drive.
Screw out the screwed-in stroke limiter, until the desired position of the shut-off valve is reached.
Tighten the counter nut.
Check the position of the shut-off valve (backwashing water flow must be set to at least 30% of the
rated flow).
Screw in the screwed out stroke limiter with the Allen key until it contacts the piston.
Tighten the counter nut.
Attention
It is important that both stroke limiters are at the same level, so that both stroke limiters
are in uniform contact with the piston!
Trigger backwashing and measure the backwashing water flow.
If necessary, with a depressurised system, readjust the stroke limiters.
