8.6.1 Protective measures against
corrosion
Our recommendation for corrosion
problems in cold water:
Install a JUDO JULIA metering pump in the
mixed water pipe downstream of the water
treatment device, in order to proportionately
enrich the water with a JUL mineral solution.
The JUL mineral solutions contain active
components, which stabilise the residual
carbonate constituents and create the pre-
requisites for developing a homogeneous
protective layer in downstream pipe sys-
tems. These active ingredient components
correspond to the prescribed type, quality
and quantity in the current German drinking
water regulations (“Treatment substances
and disinfection methods”).
