Chapter 1 Preparation

1.1 Unpacking

Check each item against the following packing list, if any of these items are missing, please
contact your dealer.

Attention: The packing style above is subject to change without notice. If you have any

questions, please contact your local dealer.

1.2 Unpack the Protect Materials

1. Open the packing box, lift up the printer, open the upper cover of the printer, remove the

packing materials shown in the following figure.

2. Save all the original packing materials, so that it can be used when transport the printer.

NOTE

Hold the bottom of printer in the box, and then carefully lift it up. As you unpack, save all
the original packing materials. They are specially designed to protect the printer and will
make later repacking easy, if necessary. Before using your new printer, please remove the
shipping pads from the printer. Open the Window

cover and remove the Styrofoam

shipping pads.
