Note: Do not use the knob to adjust the paper-in position due to the micro-range is limited.
When the adjustment exceeds the up-limit or down-limit, the beeper beeps and the
position can not be adjusted for a further time. The position is in effect before next
adjustment. (The margin set in the software can cover this adjustment, ao you had
better adjust the original print position with the software.)
9. When you finish printing (the printer receives no data for three seconds) the printer feeds the
perforation of the continuous paper to the edge of the printer cover so that you can tear off the
last sheet. The Online light flashes.
Note: Set the auto tear off feature in the Print Setting mode on. Otherwise, the printer
does not feed the perforation to the edge of the printer cover.
10. If the perforation and the edge of the printer cover do not match, you should adjust the
paper position following the steps in “Adjusting the loading position” and tear down the
paper having been printed.
When you send print data again, the paper automatically feeds back to the loading position
and ready to print.
How to switch continuous paper to single paper
Firstly, tear down the continous paper having been printed, then hold
LOAD/EJECT
button to
eject the paper in the offline mode. Dial the paper-selected lever to the single sheet position,
and load the single sheet according to chapter 3.1.1.
Note: Make sure continuous paper having been printed is teared off before ejecting the
printer, as too many pages ejected can cause paper jammed.
Printing in the pull tractor position
To load continuous paper using the pull tractor, you must move the tractor to the pull tractor position,
as described in steps 1 through 3 below. If your tractor is already installed in this position, make
sure the printer is off and skip to step 5.
Caution: Only paper jams are cleared when the printer is turned off, can use the knob on
the right side of the printer. Otherwise, you may damage the printer or change
the top-of-form position.
When using the pull tractor, set the auto tear off feature in the Printer Setting mode off; otherwise
the paper may be jamed.
1. Turn the printer off; then remove the paper guide. Pull the paper-select lever forward to the
continuous paper position as shown in the illustration on page 2.3. Remove the printer cover
and tear part and Adjust the paper thickness lever according to the paper type.
2. Make sure the tractor installed correctly (refer to chapter 1).
3. Release the sprocket units by pulling the sprocket locks upward shown as figure 3-12.
4. Insert the paper into the paper slot as shown below and pull it up. Position the paper using
