9.3 Safety Operation
The articulated hedge trimmer is not insulated against electric shock!
1.Approaching or contacting electrical lines with the trimmer could cause death
or serious injury.
2.Keep the trimmer at least 10 meters away from electrical lines or branches that
contact electrical lines.
An articulated hedge trimmer has the potential to do serious damage if misused,
abused or mishandled. To reduce the risk of injury, you must maintain control at
all times, and observe all safety precautions during operation. Never permit a
person without training or instruction to operate this machine!
This machine is designed especially for trimming hedges

recommends wearing a face shield as additional face and eye protection. Secure
long hair above shoulder level.

NEVER
wear shorts!
Wear sturdy footwear with non-slip soles to provide good footing.
Steel-toes safety boots are recommended.
Keep bystanders at least 15 meters (50 feet) away from the operating trimmer to
reduce the risk of being struck by falling or projected objects or debris.

during operation. Always operate with both hands firmly gripping the machine.
