8. BEFORE THE RIDE
8.4. STRAPS
JetSurf Electric has fully adjustable straps which can be tightened or loosened. Make sure that
the straps fit comfortably and are not too loose or too tight. The binding is tightened with
screws M6x20 DIN 912 with washer.
Tightening torque 8 N.m
Note (Material damage)
Always use screws M6x20 DIN 912. Using a different screw may cause an irreversible
damage to the battery and straps.
With every extra battery, one strap is delivered.
8.5. BASIC CHECK OF THE BOARD BEFORE THE RIDE
8.5.1 CHECK OF THE BATTERY CAPACITY
The JetSurf Electric indicates the battery status after the emergency mode is activated by ligh -
ting the indicator in the colour corresponding to the current battery status ( p. 24 ) . To check
out the battery status, it is therefore always necessary to activate the stand by mode of the
JetSurf ( p. 45 ) or connect the battery of the JetSurf Electric to the charger which indicates
the battery status on the in-built display. Make sure to charge the battery at least 8 (eight)
hours before the ride.
Caution
Always check the battery status before the ride.
• Remove 4 (four) socket head screws from
the motor cover.

Tightening torque 3,5 N.m
Caution (Risk of Injury)
Before checking the motor compartment, always remove the battery from your JetSurf
Electric. You will thus avoid a possible electrical injury. ( p. 27 )
