9. RIDING INSTRUCTIONS
Info
The electronic control unit (ECU) will switch on. (Indicator lights blue.)
Note
The ECU will stay in this state for 5 minutes from the last time the engine shut-off key
was pulled out of the engine shut-off switch. Then it will switch off automatically and
in order to start the motorized surf you will have to repeat this step.
Caution (Risk of Injury)
Never insert the engine shut off key into the engine shut off switch unless all battery
locks are locked.
9.2.2. STAGE TWO
• Insert the key in the engine shut-off switch on the control handle the second time.
• Indicator lights up purple.

If the indicator is lit in purple, a diagnostic status is indicated ( p. 24 ) .
• When the diagnostic is complete, the battery is displayed according to its capacity ( p. 24 )
and JetSurf Electric is ready to run.
Caution
Do not pull the throttle trigger when starting the board. The engine starts
automatically when the shut-off key is inserted in engine shut off switch.

Pulling the shut-off key out of the switch socket disables driving mode.
Warning (Risk of Injury)
The motorized surf runs very quietly , even when it is ready to operate.
• Ensure that the motorized surf is switched off while any work is being performed
on the motorized surf.
• Remove the Battery Pack from the motorized surf before you start any work on
the motorized surf.
Protect the motorized surf against access from unauthorized persons while you are
performing work on the motorized surf.
