U Series User Manual

You may see that the capacity of Pool 1 becomes larger. In the RAID set slot column, it

shows the RAID set members of Pool 1.

How to create “Read cache” and “Write cache”?

Make sure you have added proper SSD drives to the system. In the Vendor field, only

SSD drive with coded “JetStor” string can be used as SSD cache.

Go to Add disks -> Read cache. Select the SSD drive(s) you want to use for read cache.

Only qualified SSD drives will be listed for user selection. Others will be filtered out.
