File Setup menu

This menu is used to configure various parameters common to the whole
of a cable.

The following File menu appears.

Managing tabs

Tabs give access to the File menu of each application present in the
modules of the instrument.

It is possible to open a file even if the corresponding module is not
present in the instrument. A new tab then temporarily manages this appli-
cation.

The File Setup page not available in OTDR mode, as only the
Explorer page can be displayed (the menu key Explorer/Setup is
not available). The file configuration for OTDR results is
performed in the Setup screen (see

“Configuring the file storage

parameters” on page 30

).
