Configurations

Two configurations are available, depending on the tests that have to be
performed:

–

Construction/Installation tests with loss, optical return loss, distance
and OTDR.

–

Acceptance Tests with loss, optical return loss and distance, and
faults detection in case of problem.

Construction/Installation Test

In this configuration, bidirectional IL and ORL, length and/or unidirec-
tional/bidirectional OTDR measurements are performed. The bidirec-
tional IL/ORL and length results are stored on each unit, the OTDR
traces are stored on the locally unit (where the test has been initiated).
