One of the great strengths of the Android
operating system is the wealth of tools, utilities
and productivity apps readily available for free or
at nominal cost from the Google Play Store or
other sources. The Janam XT2’s Tools folder
contains a few examples of such tools.
CPU Setting
By default the Janam XT2’s
CPU runs at an automatic min-
imum clock frequency for
maximum battery life while
still providing good perform-
ance. You have the option to
change the CPU frequency as
shown below in the sample
screens to the right.
OI File Manager
The OI File Manager allows the
user to browse all storage lo-
cations and create directories,
as well as rename, copy, move
and delete files. It can show
hidden files, search for files,
sort files in various ways, and
show or display warning mes-
sages. OI File Manager also
acts as an extension to other
apps to provide “open” and
“save” dialogues.
