PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGH-
LY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH INSTALLATION
Before starting...
Q
Check to ensure that the drain is operative, as well as connec-
tion to the water and electrical supply in the case of electronic
models.
During installation, the mixer system must be connected to the wa-
ter supply via two pipes capable of accommodating high flow rates
(internal Ø 10 mm) 1/2” M-F, 100 cm in length.
Q
In the instance where you wish to connect the shower enclo-
sure to an alarm circuit, you must also use a bipolar cable (see
Chapter "Alarm Connection (where necessary)").
Before every installation phase, remove any bar code labels
present on shower enclosure components.
In order to ensure correct operation of the shower enclosure,
you should ensure even pressure and adequate water flow
(see the pre-installation technical specifications), in addition
to pipes with adequate cross-sections .
ATTENTION: (IEC 60335-1/A2) The pressure of the wa-
ter system supplying water to the appliance must not
exceed 600 kPa (6 bar).
ATTENTION: when moving glass panels, ONLY use suc-
tion lifters, suited to hold the weight of the glass pan-
els. Also use suitable protective gloves.
Installing the shower tray
Ensure the walls are perpendicular to the tray; wall mounted com-
pensators allow for a 10 mm error margin: errors of larger dimen-
sions can be rectified using suitable spacers or by removing the tray
from the wall.
Q
(
1
) Remove the protective film and attach the glass profile
to the tray (side opposite the drain); use the "LT" holes to attach
it to the left corner; on the contrary, use the "RT" holes when
installing in a right corner.
Q
(
2
) Attach the screws to the front of the tray.
Q
(
3
) Connect the drainage column to the already prepared
drainage pipe, carefully gluing the meeting points.
During this phase, check that are no leakages from
the drain, as it will be too late once assembly is com-
plete. For example, place the tray on the supports and
pour water over, checking the seals of the connections
made.
We recommend levelling the area under the tray with
high-resistance cement mortar (or equivalent materi-
als) in order to secure an even support surface.
Q
(
4
) Completing installation of the drain.
Check the spirit level of the tray (widening the rims where nec-
essary) and fix it to the floor using filler or equivalent materials;
place silicone between the tray and walls.
Do not place filler or silicone in the glass-profile area.
Installing the compensators
ATTENTION: during installation, we recommend pro-
tecting the tray from any possible knocks or scratches.
Q
(
5
) Place the compensator in the corner opposite the drain,
resting on the tray; check the perpendicularity and the distance
with regards to the
upper
tray rim.
Attach the compensator to the wall.
Q
(
6
) Place the second compensator in the corner next to the
drain, resting on the tray and against the protruding cornice (C);
check the perpendicularity and attach it to the wall.
Place silicone in the area indicated.
Installing the panel frame
Q
(
7a-7b
) Dependent on the installation corner, assemble
the profile to the panel frame, firstly gluing the inside (check that
the lower part aligns with the frame,
detail 2
).
Glue also the lower frame area which will rest against the tray.
Q
(
8
) Place the panel frame on the tray, checking that:
- it rests against the compensator;
- it hooks to the protruding tray cornice;
- it is flush with the external tray rim.
Q
(
9
) Check the perpendicularity of the panel frame and at-
tach it to the compensator; place some silicone between the
frame and the tray, as indicated.
