In the instance where the main spa-pak has a heat exchanger for
heating water, it is necessary to connect the primary circuit to the
system which supplies hot water, in addition to connecting the elec-
trical box with devices (solenoid valve, motor pump) that control the
recirculation of the hot water in the exchanger's primary circuit.
Water connections for the Spa-Pak must also include the connection
between the filter and a ground drainage point.
Spa-Pak must always be installed in a ventilated indoor
area, which is not accessible to persons without a key or
tools and it must be protected from water and bad weather
(see note “Spa-Pak and the compensation tank” in the previous
chapter)
. For perfect operation of the system, the Spa-Pak must be
installed at the same level as the compensation tank
(
7, part.
2-3 ) or with a minimal difference.
The compensation tank
If possible, it must be installed near the minipool to optimise efficien-
cy (the excess water will drop down into the retainer tub). For this
purpose,
it is mandatory that the higher retainer tub is
installed on a level that is at least 50 cm lower than that of
the minipool, and up to a maximum of 2 m (
7, detail 2).
The lower retainer tub can be installed on the same level as
the minipool, up to a maximum of 2 m (
7, detail 3).
Electrical safety
The spas of the Experience range are safe products, manufactured in
compliance with standards
EN 60335.2.60, EN 61000, EN 55014 and
tested during production to ensure their safety.
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized personnel,
in compliance with the national provisions in force.
It is the responsibility of the installer to choose the mate-
rials in relation to their use, to carry the work out cor-
rectly, to check the condition of the system to which the
appliance is to be connected and its suitability and to
guarantee safety when in use, regarding maintenance
operations and inspection of the system.
The spas of the Experience range are class " 1 " appliances and
therefore they must be permanently connected, without any inter-
mediate connections , to the electrical system and to the protection
system (earth system).
The appliance must be powered by a differential cir-
cuit breaker; the operating current must not exceed
30mA.
Check that the differential switch is working correctly by
pressing the test button (TEST), which must click.
Parts incorporating electrical components, except
remote control devices, must be located or fixed
so that they cannot fall into the spa.
Live components and equipment must be out of
reach of individuals in the spa.
For connection to the mains, it is necessary to install a discon-
necting multiple-pole switch that provides full disconnection under
overvoltage category III conditions (
3 ). It must be positioned in a
place that complies with safety regulations and, in any case, which can-
not be reached by those using the spa.
Compliance with this regulation is obligatory: any other procedure is
prohibited.
The disconnection devices must be installed in the power supply
network according to the installation instructions.
The installation of electrical devices and equipment (sockets, switch-
es, etc.) near the spa must be in compliance with legal standards and
regulations in the country where the spa is installed.
For the purpose of equipotential connection in compliance with spe-
cific national regulations, the installer must use the provided terminal
(
EN 60335.2.60 standards) on the electric wiring box ( 3 ), and
marked by the symbol
.
In particular, equipotential connection must be carried out for all metal
parts surrounding the mini-pool, for example, the water and gas pipes
and any surrounding metal under-frames etc.
The appliance comes equipped with an LED lighting system, in
compliance with Regulation EN 62471:2009.
CAUTION! Before carrying out any maintenance
operation, disconnect the appliance from the pow-
er supply line.
