6.3 TRACTION PEDAL _________________________________________________________
The traction pedal controls the movement of the mower. Press the
front of the pedal to move in the forward direction. Press the rear
part of the pedal to move in the reverse direction. When traction
pedal is not pressed, the pedal will return to the NEUTRAL position.
The mow stop will limit the forward speed while you operate the
cutting units.
To travel at a lower speed, rotate mow stop to the mow position. The
mow stop will touch the pedal stop and limit the forward speed.
To travel at transport speed, rotate mow stop to the transport
position.
6.4 STEERING-ASSIST PEDALS ________________________________________________
Press the left or right steering-assist pedal to decrease the turn
radius of the mower and make tight turns around trees and other
objects. Press the steering assist pedal down gradually until the
desired turn radius is achieved.
The left steering-assist pedal is for left turns. The right steering-
assist pedal is for right turns.
NOTICE
If the steering-assist pedals are pressed too hard, the wheel
motor can lock and can cause damage to the turf.
