3.10 Enhanced Multi-IO
3.10.1 FDC Connector
The IBM compa tible floppy disk drive ha s 360KB, 720KB, 1.2KB,
1.44KB a nd 2.88KB. The most popula r is 1.44MB in 3.5 inch. There is
a lso one kind of 2.88MB FDD is using on the Ja pa n NEC PC98 series
computer.
This motherboa rd ca n support for up to two different kind FDD in sa me
connector a nd a lso support QIC-80 Ta pe Driver under floppy interfa ce.
FDC is a 34 pins interna l Floppy port connector. Use 34 pins fla t ca ble to
connect between this connector a nd floppy drives.

3.10.2 Parallel Port Connector
The pa ra llel port is using the pa ra llel signa l tra nsfer, Byte per unit is the
da ta input/ output. The speed is fa ster tha n seria l port a nd most this wa s
used on the pa ra llel printer or other pa ra llel devices.
Pa ra llel port is a 25 pins fema le externa l DB25 connector for pa ra llel port.
