Step 6. Install the Internal Peripherals
The interna l periphera ls mea ns devices tha t in the computer
cha ssis like the Floppy Disk Drive, Ha rd Disk Drive, CD ROM
Drive …etc. With this motherboard package, there are 34, 40,
50 a nd 68 pin fla t ca ble. Use these ca bles to
connect the
motherboard and internal devices. All flat cable’s
connector housing
ha ve the key protect, this will guide you the
correct direction
when you insert.
Step 7. Install the External Peripherals
The externa l device mea ns devices tha t outside the computer
cha ssis like the Seria l mouse, Printer, PS/2 Mouse, Externa l
Modem…etc. With this motherboard’s package there are two
10 pin ca bles convert to 9 a nd 25 pin D-Sub ma le connector
ca ble a re for Seria l port, one 26 pin convert to 25 pin D-Sub
fema le connector ca ble is for Pa ra llel port, one 5 pin housing
but 4 wires into a 6 pin Mini-DIN is for the PS/2 mouse.
Step 8. Install the SMI(System Management Interrupt)
