Motor speed alarm

It happens at high speed, the motor speed is lower  than the set.

1) Weak interconnection cable looses the supply  voltage, replace the interconnection cable.

2) Wire feeder front control board T252 failure, re- place the board."

Err: 50

Wrong data in the EPROM.

Usual it appears when the new program is down- loaded in the machine.

1) Wait, normally it goes away after the reconstruc- tion of the data (Up a couple of minute)

2) Try to set some control with the main knob in  the front panel, shut off the machine and turn on  again.

3) Download again the software, replace the main  board T178."

Err/ MEM

Err: 51

Alarm during the reading of  the memory.

Appear when it is not possible to write the data in  the EPROM, the cause is noise in the digital signal.

1) Clean with compress air the main board T178.

2) Replace the main board T178.

3) Replace the supply board."

Expansion program board  doesn’t works

There are problems in the recover of the data from  the expansion memory board where are con- tained the serial number and the optional func- tions.

1) Check the insertion of the expansion board.

2) Check if the version of the expansion is compati- ble with the machine.

3) The expansion board is not approved by the  main board T178, ask to the Service Center.”

Problem in the 485 communication

1) Check the cabling from machine to external  wire feeder.

2) Replace the front control board T252 in the wire  feeder.

3) Replace the main board T178 in the power  source."
