Maintenance and adjustment

TRACK SETTING (Fig. 36)

Connective plate is asymmetrically

welded to rim and enables fitting of base
plate to two different positions on one
side. If you turn the base plate and fit it
to other side of connective plate, you get
four possible ways of fitting rim and base
plate.

Fig. 36:

1

4

2

3

If you install complete rim on wheel

hub with inward or outward turned base
plate, you get eight different distances be-
tween wheel centre and fitting surface of

hub. This means eight different widths of
track.

1. Rim
2. Base plate
3. Connective plate
4. Fastening bolt (spring washer and nut)

IMPORTANT

If you changed the width, must not

touch tyres and frame at normal turn-
ing. Recheck the wheel nut and rim bolt
torques after ten hours (or two hours if
on loader work) and then recheck, and if
necessary, retighten twice more at ten-
hour intervals. This protects against the
loosening that occurs from assemblies
settling.

Rear wheel weights (Fig. 37)

Installation and removal of weights or

extension on the tractor can only be per-
formed in places with ensured adequate
safety (suitably equipped workshops).

INSTALLATION  OF  30  KG  WHEEL

WEIGHTS

Installation is performed as follows:

1- Install the wheel on the tractor.

2- Tighten wheel nuts.
3- Install the weight on external side of

wheel and fix it with bolts (1).

4- Check that weights are installed cor-

rectly and repeat the procedure on
other wheel.

*Remove weights in reverse order.

Fig. 37:

1

If the base plate on the rim turned in-

ward, then an additional spacer plate with
special wheel spacer bolts is required for
correct installation of wheel weights.

Installation is performed as follows:

1- Install the wheel. Use special wheel
