transmission and PTO.
Proportional engine speed
Depression of clutch pedal disconnects
the drive from transmission and PTO shaft.
Rotation of the PTO shaft is clockwise
when viewed from the rear.
NOTE
When engaging or disengaging the
PTO drive from the engine , depress the
clutch pedal fully.
Proportional ground speed
Proportional ground speed is used for
light work and is not intended to drive
heavy implements.The tractor must be
stationary when the proportional ground
speed PTO is shifted in or out of engage-
ment.
WARNING
When reversing the tractor, the PTO
lever must be in neutral, as serious dam-
age may be caused through the implement
mechanism being rotated in the reverse
direction.
To engage the PTO
Proportion of ground speed
Depress the clutch pedal fully, move
the PTO engaging lever (Fig. 9) and live
PTO lever (Fig. 9, B position) to up posi-
tion. In this position, PTO shaft works in
proportion of ground speed.

Depress the clutch pedal fully, move
the PTO engaging lever (Fig. 9) to up posi-
tion and live PTO lever (Fig. 10) to down
position. In this position, PTO shaft works
in proportion of engine speed. Set the en-
gine speed to 1841 rev/min for 540 PTO
shaft speed.

To disengage live PTO
Depress the clutch pedal fully, move
the PTO engaging lever (Fig. 9) and live
PTO lever (Fig. 10) to the central position
to relieve PTO drive.
ATTACHING TO THE PTO SHAFT
1. Slack and remove the screws of PTO
cap and store them in the tool box for
future use.
2. Attach the PTO shaft to the splined
shaft on the tractor. Ensure that the
