Always disengage the PTO, stop the
engine and remove the key before:
1. Connecting or disconnecting the PTO
shaft.
2. Adjusting the PTO driveline or PTO
driven machine.
3. Cleaning, unblocking or servicing the
PTO driveline
General driving
Keep the brake pedals latched together
at all times unless independent braking is
required. Never use independent braking
during transport.
Always drive at a safe speed relative
to local conditions and ensure that your
speed is low enough for an emergency
stop to be safe and secure.
Reduce speed on bends to avoid the
risk of overturning.
Operating the tractor beyond its design
limits can cause damage. It can also be
dangerous. Do not operate the machine
outside its limits. Do not try to upgrade
the tractor’s performance by unapproved
modifications.
Use a safety chain
A safety chain Will help control drawn
equipment should it accidentally separate
from the drawbar while transporting.
Using the appropriate adapter parts at-
tach the chain to the tractor drawbar sup-
port or other specified anchor locations.
Provide only enough slack in the chain to
permit turning. See ITMCO Dealer for a
chain with a strength rating equal to or
greater than the gross weight of the towed
machine.

speeds before disengaging.
WARNING
DO NOT remove the tractor PTO shield
or implement shield. Observe all safety
decals on the PTO driveline.
WARNING
DO NOT use PTO adapters, reducers
or extensions as they extend the PTO
coupler and universal joint out beyond the
protection offered by the shield.
