6.9.6 Replacing Drive Wheel (1-Bolt Installation)
This chapter deals with drive wheels that are installed with one central bolt.
CAUTION!
Risk of Crushing to Hands and Feet by Weight of Mobility Device
– Pay attention to hand and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
CAUTION!
Risk of Uncontrolled Movement of Mobility Device
– Turn off power supply (ON/OFF key).
– Engage drive.
– Before raising mobility device, secure wheels by blocking them with wedges.
– Prevent the mobility device tipping by propping it up on a wooden block which is long and wide enough under
the battery case. If the wooden block is too short or too high, the mobility device can still tip.
