Delete
To delete a MAC-based VLAN entry, select this box and click
Save
.
MAC Address
Indicates the MAC address.
VLAN ID
Indicates the VLAN ID.
Port Members
A row of check boxes for each port appears for each MAC-based
VLAN entry. To include a port in a MAC-based VLAN, select the
check box. To remove or exclude the port from the MAC-based
VLAN, make sure the box is deselected. By default, no ports are
members, and all boxes are deselected.
Adding a New MAC-based
VLAN
Click
Add New Entry
to add a new MAC-based VLAN entry. An
empty row is added to the table, and the MAC-based VLAN entry can
be configured as needed. Any unicast MAC address can be
configured for the MAC-based VLAN entry. No broadcast or multicast
MAC addresses are allowed. Legal values for a VLAN ID are 1
through 4095.
The MAC-based VLAN entry is enabled when clicking
Save
. A MAC-
based VLAN without any port members will be deleted when clicking
Save
. The
Delete
button can be used to undo the addition of new
MAC-based VLANs.
Buttons

Reset
to undo any changes made locally and revert to previously saved
values.
• Select the
Auto-refresh
check box to refresh the page automatically. Automatic
refresh occurs every three seconds.

to refresh the page immediately.

to update the table starting from the first entry in the MAC-based VLAN
table.
• Click
>>
to update the table, starting with the entry after the last entry currently
displayed.
MAC-based VLAN status
The MAC-based VLAN Membership Status page shows MAC-based VLAN entries
configured by various MAC-based VLAN users
