Wetting Procedure
Overview
The Wetting Procedure is used when starting up an iQue for the first time or when starting an instrument that has
not been used for a while. It is also used following fluidics maintenance or in other situations when air has been
introduced into the system.
NOTE
If this procedure is being used with an instrument that has been out of use for a
while and the in-line sheath filter has dried out, the in-line sheath filter will need
to be replaced before wetting.
Running Ethanol on Fast for 10 minutes
1. Place a 5 mL tube containing 3 mL of 70% reagent grade ethanol on the detector inlet.
2. Create a new Test Tube experiment.

On the Protocol tab, set the IntelliCyt Cytometer Speed to
Fast
4. Set The Test Tube Time Limit to 10 minutes .
5. Run the experiment.
