Getting Started
—Continued
Turn on your system components in the following order:
Notes:
• Before connecting the power cord, connect all of your AV components.
• Turning on the NVS-7.7 may cause a momentary power surge that might interfere with other
electrical equipment on the same circuit. If this is a problem, plug the NVS-7.7 into a different
branch circuit.
• Do not use a power cord other than the one supplied with the NVS-7.7. The supplied power
cord is designed exclusively for use with the NVS-7.7 and should not be used with any other
equipment.
• Never disconnect the power cord from the NVS-7.7 while the other end is still plugged into a
wall outlet. Doing so may cause an electric shock. Always disconnect the power cord from the
wall outlet first, and then the NVS-7.7.
Step 8: Turn On the NVS-7.7
1
Connect the supplied power cord to the NVS-7.7’s AC INLET,
and then connect the other end to a suitable wall outlet. (We
recommended that you use a power surge protector.)
2
Turn on your display (TV or computer monitor).
Always turn on your TV or display before turning on the NVS-7.7, other-
wise the picture may not appear.
3
Press the NVS-7.7’s Standby/On button.
The Standby indicator goes off.
4
Turn on your audio system.
5
To turn on the wireless keyboard, press its
Transmit button.
To conserve battery power, the keyboard will automatically switch to
Standby mode when it’s not used for a while and pressing the keys will
have no effect. In this case, press the
Transmit button to turn it on again.
