Getting Started
—Continued
This section explains how to connect your TV or PC monitor to the NVS-7.7.
The options are as follows:
Option 1
: DVI connection
Option 2
: VGA connection
Option 3
: Component video connection
Option 4
: S-Video or composite video connection
We recommend that you use option #1, DVI, because it offers the best picture quality. If your TV
doesn’t have a DVI port, use option #2, VGA.
You only need to connect one video display to the NVS-7.7. For the best viewing experience, use a
high-resolution display, such as plasma display, LCD TV, LCD projector, and so on.
Note:
The NVS-7.7 cannot output composite video, S-Video, and component video simultaneously. Use only
one video connection.
Option 1: DVI Connection (recommended)
Connect a DVI cable (not included) from the NVS-7.7’s DVI VIDEO OUT to a DVI input on your
display.
Option 2: VGA Connection
Connect a VGA cable (not included) from the NVS-7.7’s VGA VIDEO OUT port to a VGA input on
your display.
