Assembly

25

Connecting the power supply



The device has already been mounted to the DIN rail.



The power supply is connected and switched off.

1.

Remove the push-in terminal connector from the switch.

2.

Connect the ground lead of the power supply to the terminal "GND"
of the terminal connector.

3.

Connect the positive lead of the power supply to the terminal "V1" of
the terminal connector.

4.

Fasten the push-in terminal connector at the switch again.



The switch is now connected to the power supply.

Disconnecting the power supply



The device is mounted to the DIN rail.



The power supply is connected and switched off.

1.

Remove the push-in terminal connector from the switch.



The switch is disconnected from the power supply.

Removing the device from the DIN rail

How to uninstall the switch from a DIN rail in a switch cabinet:



The power supply of the switch cabinet is switched off and secured against
being switched on accidentally.



The push-in terminal connector, the grounding connection and all Ethernet
cables at the device are disconnected.

1.

Push the device slightly down to compress the retaining spring and
swing it away from the DIN rail.

2.

Un-hook the device and take it off perpendicularly to the DIN rail.



The switch is now detached.
