Position 3 of switches J2 and J4 enables the end of line resistor to be connected to the RS-485 bus. Positions 1
and 2 activate the
pull-up and pull-down resistances required for devices with Standard uncertainty threshold. By
default switches J2 and J4 are configured as end of line.
Consult the accessories manual for communication via RS-485 for more information on the RS-485
wiring.

3.2. Settings
3.2.1. Factory settings
The AAX0057 and AAX0041 communications cards are configured by default to obtain their IP
address dynamically by DHCP, in Modbus-TCP operation mode and with a serial port speed of
9600 bps.
The AAX0058 card has two configurable network interfaces. By default:
• The network A interface assigned to the BUS RS-485 A is configured to obtain its IP
directly by DHCP.
• The network B interface assigned to BUS RS-485 A is configured with a static IP.
• Both interfaces are configured to work in Modbus-TCP and with a serial port speed of 9600
bps.
By default the AAX0076 communications card acts as a Wi-Fi access point. Once the card is on, it
creates a SoftAP network with a SSID.
• The identification has the format 0xMxxxxxxAxx_MMMM , where 0xMxxxxxxAxx is the card's
serial number and MMMM is the four last digits of the card's MAC address.
• Since the card acts as an access point and generates a Wi-Fi network, the card's IP address
is the following: 192.168.10.3.
