3. Communication accessories
Throughout this section there are descriptions of the accessories available for communication via Ethernet.
The communications accessories are divided into:
• Communications card: hardware for sending and receiving data.
• Kit: set of communications card and other necessary elements (connectors, wiring, etc.) for
communication via Ethernet.

3.1.1. Ethernet TCP Communication card with an RS-485 output
These communications cards offer Modbus-TCP communication with Ingeteam inverters. Their function is protocol
conversion, allowing the units to be integrated into industrial communication networks wherein Modbus-TCP is one
of the protocols most frequently used by SCADA, PLC, etc.
