8.4 Check inline filter

Function and measuring accuracy of the leak detector can be impaired by

contaminated filters. Check the transparent filter elements (inline filter) regularly for the

ingress of dust.

The inline filters are also changed every 4 years as part of the manufacturer's service,

see also "Service by the manufacturer [

57]”.

To disconnect the hoses from the filter elements on the rear of the device,

loosen the blue cap nuts with your fingers, see "Check inline filter [

51]”.

Replace the contaminated filter element with a new filter element. Note the

direction of mounting!

Tighten the blue screw caps of the filter element.
