OVERWRITE: Memory overwrite mode selection
Select whether the recording should stop when the memory card is full or
whether the recording should continue by overwriting the oldest recordings.

FRAME RATE: Frame rate selection
Select the recording frame rate (30 /15 / 5 Frames per second). The higher the
frame rate the more memory will be used for a certain time period.
Note: 30fps corresponds to 25fps in the PAL system.
MOTION DETECTION: Selection of detection area and
sensitivity
In the motion detection mode a recording will be automatically started when a
change in the picture is detected.
Detection area
In order to minimise unwanted recording, areas in the picture can be masked -
in these areas the motion will not be detected.

[16]. Masked areas are blue, active areas show the camera image.

In the motion detection mode a detected motion can trigger a warning sound:

FORMAT: Format the SD card (recorded data will be deleted)
The inserted SD memory card can be formatted before the first usage. Memory
files can be deleted.
Note: Make sure that the SD card is unlocked
Before the first usage each SD card must be formatted
CARD INFO: Information about the memory capacity of the SD
card
Shows the total memory capacity (Total Size), the percentage of the total
capacity which is used (Usage size) and the percentage unused (Remain size).
In the overwrite mode the unused percentage will remain at 2 - 3 %.

The video and, if required the audio signal, from the selected camera can
be recorded

The video sequences are recorded on the inserted SD card

The video sequences are receorded in ASF format in a resolution of 640 x
480 pixels

The number of recorded frames per second can be selected (5,15 or 30 fps,
see Chapter 10.2 Frame rate)

A ring memory system can be selected, so that when the SD card memory is
full the oldest files will be overwritten (see Chapter 10.2 Overwrite)
