Disassembly of combustion circuit main components.
Before disassembling the components, make sure the gas cock
is closed.
Gas nozzle replacement (22).
Loosen the gas pipe (25) in order to access the gas nozzle po-
sitioned at the entry of the Venturi pipe, then replace it with
the gas nozzle that has the suitable diameter for the type of
gas
(see gas transformation)
.
N.B.:
on re-assembly of the nozzle, pay particular attention to
the correct positioning of the gas gasket.
Burner disassembly (15).
Loosen the gas pipe (25) and unscrew the two screws (26) that
fix the collector to the fan, and then loosen the 6 blind nuts
(19) that block the gas collector flange to the condensation
module (9). To replace the burner graphite gasket (16) loosen
the 4 screws (12).
N.B.:
on re-mounting the burner unit/collector pay particular
attention to the correct positioning of the cord packing (14),
gas gasket (13), gas pipe gasket (25) and gasket between fan
flange and gas collector (18).
Condensation module disassembly (9).
Before carrying out the operation drain off all water present
inside the module.
Loosen the tightening bolts on the system flow and return
pipes and of the condensate discharge pipe positioned in the
lower part of the module. Loosen the screws (11) that fix the
module using brackets (9) to the supports (10), which are
fixed using screws to the support sheet steel (5) of the boiler
and then extract the module frontally, separating it from the
flue hood (1).
N.B.:
when restoring the connection between condensation
module and flue hood, pay particular attention to the correct
positioning of the lip gasket (8) and the containment gasket
(7).
Flue hood disassembly (1).
Loosen the two screw fasteners (3) of the flue hood (1) onto
sides support cross-member (2), which is fixed to the back (4)
of the boiler, then loosen the clips that block the air intake pipe
to the flue hood. After having disassembled the condensation
module, loosen the two screws (6) that fix the hood to the (1)
module support (5), which is fixed to the back (4) of the boiler
in a way to release the hood.
Disassembly and replacement of ignition and detection
electrodes.
Loosen the two fixing screws on the ignition electrodes unit
(27). Loosen the two fixing screws on the detection electrode
(20).
N.B.:
when re-mounting the detection electrodes be sure to
remount the gasket correctly. For the detection electrode be
sure to re-mount the OR gasket. For both electrodes scrupu-
lously follow the minimum heights stated in the drawing in
the page at the side.
