2) Set the input selector switches (7) for the channels
CH 1 and CH 2 to the corresponding position.
3) Connect the amplifier to the output jacks AMP (14).
4) For sound recordings, connect a sound recorder to
the output jacks REC (13).
5) Connect the supplied plug-in transformer to the jack
(12) and then to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
After operation disconnect the plug-in transformer
from the mains socket to prevent unnecessary
power consumption.
6) Prior to switching on the mixer, the channel faders
(8) and the volume control of the microphone (5)
should be set to minimum to prevent switching
noise. Then switch on the mixer with the power
switch (2). The LED above the switch lights up to
indicate that the mixer is ready for operation.
7) Finally switch on the units connected.

Operation
Prior to setting the mixer into operation for the first
time, set the crossfader (10) to mid-position and un-
lock the TALKOVER switch (3).
5.1 Mixing the audio sources connected
1) Adjust the volume for the input channels CH 1 and
CH 2 with the faders (8) and the volume for the DJ
microphone connected to the jack (9) with the con-
trol MIC LEVEL (5). The stereo output level is indi-
cated by the 5-step LED VU-meter (1). At 0 dB, the
mixer is controlled to its maximum level. In case of
overload, the red LEDs of the VU-meter will light
up.
2) The crossfader allows crossfading between the
channels CH 1 and CH 2. With the crossfader in
mid-position, both channels are fed to the outputs
at the same time.
5.2 Prefader listening to the channels
The prefader listening feature allows individual moni-
toring of the input channels CH 1 and CH 2 via head-
phones. The level of the signal monitored is independ-
ent of the position of the corresponding channel fader.
When monitoring an input channel, the optimum
moment for fading in the corresponding audio source
can be selected.

2) Select the channel CH 1 or CH 2 with the selector
switch PFL (4).
3) Adjust the desired headphone volume with the con-
trol PFL LEVEL (6).
5.3 Announcements via the DJ microphone
To improve the audibility of a microphone announce-
ment, the levels of the channels CH 1 and CH 2 can be
attenuated by 15 dB. For this purpose, press the
switch TALKOVER (3) [LED above the switch lights
up]. If the switch is not pressed, the talkover function is
deactivated.
