Safety Notes
The mixer and the plug-in transformer correspond to
the directive for electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/
EEC. The transformer also corresponds to the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Please observe the following items in any case:
●
The mixer and the plug-in transformer are suitable
for indoor use only. Protect them against dripping
water and splash water, high air humidity, and heat
(admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
●
Even with the mixer switched off, there will be a low
power consumption by the plug-in transformer.
●
Do not operate the mixer or immediately disconnect
the plug-in transformer from the mains socket
1. in case of visible damage to the mixer or to the
transformer,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.
●
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
●
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the mixer or the plug-in trans-
former is used for other purposes than originally in-
tended, if it is not correctly connected, operated, or
not repaired in an expert way.

Setting the Mixer into Operation
1) Connect the audio sources to the corresponding
input jacks:
– jacks CD/LINE (15) for connecting units with line
level (e. g. tuner, CD player, cassette recorder)
– jacks PHONO (16) for connecting turntables with
magnetic system;
connect the ground connections of the turntables
to the terminal screw GND (17)
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
Attention! The plug-in transformer is supplied with
hazardous mains voltage (230 V~). Inexpert handling
or modification of the plug-in transformer may cause
an electric shock hazard. Furthermore, any guaran-
tee claim will expire if the transformer or the mixer
has been opened.
