5.3 Fernsteuern der Funktion „Start / Stop“
Für den Disco-Betrieb kann die Funktion „Start/ Stop“
über einen separaten Umschalter ferngesteuert wer-
den. Den Umschalter über einen dreipoligen 6,3-mm-
Klinkenstecker (siehe Abb. 7) an die Buchse (16)
anschließen.
Der Plattenspieler läßt sich auch über ein Mischpult
mit sogenanntem Fader-Start fernsteuern. Wenn am
Mischpult der Regler für den Plattenspieler geöffnet
wird, startet automatisch der Plattenspieler bzw.
stoppt wieder, wenn der Regler geschlossen wird.
Bei Fernsteuerung über ein Mischpult ist jedoch die
Schnell-Stopp-Bremse des Gerätes außer Funktion,
d. h. der Plattenteller stoppt nicht abrupt, sondern
läuft langsam aus. Das Mischpult über einen 6,3-mm-
Klinkenstecker an die Buchse (16) anschließen.
Die Start/Stopp-Taste (6) am Plattenspieler ist bei
Fernsteuerung ohne Funktion.

Ersatzteile
6.1 Tonabnehmersystem und Abtastnadel
Bei Bedarf kann das Tonabnehmersystem oder die
Abtastnadel leicht ausgewechselt werden. Im Fach-
handel sind entsprechende Ersatzteile erhältlich,
z. B. von MONACOR:
Diamant-Abtastnadel EN-24SP,
Tonabnehmer-Magnetsystem EN-24.
Nach dem Austausch des Tonabnehmersystems das
Auflagegewicht und Antiskating neu einstellen (siehe
Kapitel 3.2 und 3.3).
6.2 Ersatz-Systemträger
Ein Ersatz-Systemträger komplett mit einem Tonab-
nehmersystem (z. B. EN-120 von MONACOR) kann
in die Halterung (3) gesteckt werden. Damit ist bei
Bedarf immer sofort Ersatz verfügbar. Der Systemträ-
ger läßt sich schnell durch Ab- und Anschrauben aus-
tauschen. Anschließend das Auflagegewicht und
Antiskating neu einstellen (siehe Kapitel 3.2 und 3.3).

Wartung
7.1 Pflege
Das Plattenspielergehäuse und die Abdeckhaube
nur mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch abwischen.
Keinen Alkohol, Chemikalien oder scharfe Reini-
gungsmittel verwenden! Zum Entstauben der Abtast-
nadel und der Schallplatten ist im Fachhandel ent-
sprechendes Zubehör erhältlich, z. B.:
Carbonfaser-Plattenbürste DC-100 von MONACOR.
7.2 Transport
Bei Versand des Plattenspielers darauf achten, daß
alle Geräteteile transportgesichert verpackt werden.
Am besten den Original-Verpackungskarton inkl.
Verpackungszubehör verwenden. Geräteschäden,
die durch eine unzureichende Transportsicherung
verursacht werden, unterliegen nicht der Garantie!
Für den Versand unbedingt beachten:
1) Die Schutzkappe für die Abtastnadel aufstecken.
2) Den Tonarm mit dem Verriegelungshebel (13)
feststellen und mit geeignetem Verpackungsma-
terial gegen Verrutschen sichern.
3) Die zur Transportsicherung mitgelieferten Kunst-
stoffarretierungen (siehe Kap. 3.1) unter dem Plat-
tenteller anbringen und den Plattenteller über die
Arretierungen fest mit dem Gehäuse verschrau-
ben.

5.3 Remote control of the “Start/Stop” function
For the disco operation the Start/Stop function can
be controlled remotely via a separate changeover
switch. Connect the changeover switch via a 3-pole
6.3 mm plug (see fig. 7) to the jack (16).
The turntable may also be controlled remotely via a
mixer with so-called fader start. If the control for the
turntable at the mixer is opened, the turntable au-
tomatically starts resp. stops again if the control is
closed. However, the solenoid brake of the unit is out
of function, i. e. the turntable platter does not stop
abruptly, but it slows down. Connect the mixer via a
6.3 mm plug to the jack (16).
The Start/Stop button (6) at the turntable is out of
function during remote control operation.
6
Replacement Parts
6.1 Phono cartridge system and stylus
If necessary, the phono cartridge system or the stylus
can easily be replaced. Corresponding replacement
parts are available at the retailer, e. g.:
diamond stylus EN-24SP by MONACOR,
stereo magnetic phono cartridge system EN-24 by
MONACOR.
After replacement of the phono cartridge system re-
adjust the stylus pressure and antiskating (see chap-
ters 3.2 and 3.3).
6.2 Replacement headshell
A complete replacement headshell with a phono car-
tridge system (e. g. EN-120 by MONACOR) can be
placed into the mounting support (3) so that there is
always a replacement at hand. The headshell can be
replaced quickly by screwing the existing one off and
the new one on. Afterwards, readjust the pressure
weight and the antiskating (see chapters 3.2 and 3.3).

Maintenance
7.1 Care
Clean the housing of the turntable and the dust cover
with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, chemicals
or aggressive cleaners! For removing dust from sty-
lus and records special cleaning accessories are
available at the retailer, e. g.:
carbon fibre brush for records DC-100 by MONACOR.
7.2 Transport
For transporting the turntable pay attention to all
parts being packed properly. It is advisable to use the
original packing including packing materials. Dam-
age to the unit caused by insufficient securing is not
covered by the guaranty!
For the despatch watch in any case:
1) Mount the stylus protection cap.
2) Secure the tonearm with the locking lever (13)
and use corresponding packing material to secure
it against movement.
3) Mount the supplied plastic stoppers (see chap-
ter 3.1) beneath the turntable platter and securely
screw the turntable platter to the housing via the
stoppers.
