Global Setup Menu Functions

VTM-2400 Installation and Operation Handbook

2.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button to display the SETUP MENU.

Use the UP or DOWN buttons (or the UP/DOWN NAVIGATION knob) to move the
cursor to the SYSTEM menu.

4.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button.

5.

Use the UP or DOWN buttons (or the UP/DOWN NAVIGATION knob) to move the
cursor to PANEL LOCKOUT.

6.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button. The Enter Password screen appears.

7.

Use the UP and DOWN NAVIGATION buttons to select 0-9 (first digit in password).

8.

Use the SETUP/ENTER button to move the cursor to select the second password
number.

9.

Use the UP and DOWN NAVIGATION buttons to select 0-9 (second digit in password).

10.

Use the SETUP/ENTER button to move the cursor to the third password number.

11.

Use the UP and DOWN NAVIGATION buttons to select 0-9 (third digit in password).
When the password is correctly entered, LOCKED will change to UNLOCK.

12.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button to move the cursor to select UNLOCK.

13.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button.

14.

Use the UP and DOWN NAVIGATION buttons to move the cursor to select the Preset
Number or front panel. Presets must be locked before the front panel if presets are to
be locked at the same time as the front panel.

15.

Press the SETUP/ENTER button to toggle between Lock and Unlock on the highlighted
Preset Number selection or front panel.

16.

Repeat the previous two steps for any other selection needed to be made.

17.

After the settings are complete, press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

(If the front panel was locked in the steps above) The front panel is locked once EXIT is
pressed. Any button pressed besides the SETUP/ENTER button will invoke the PANEL LOCKED
OUT message. Subsequent presses of the SETUP/ENTER button will invoke the ENTER
PASSWORD setup screen. The panel will be unlocked and the Setup menu can only be
accessed after a valid password has been entered.

To unlock the locked front panel or preset:

NOTE

: The default password is 0-0-0.
