A.11.2 Position of the Paper Transport Wings
For best results, the paper transport wings should be inserted as shown in the following
picture.

Position 1: Place two paper transport wings twelve inches (approx. 305 mm) to the left of
the center of the guide plate.
Position 2: Place one paper transport wing at the middle of the guide plate. The red
indicator marks the center of the document input.
Position 3: Place two paper transport wings twelve inches (approx. 305 mm) to the right
of the center of the guide plate.
Note: Always ensure that two paper transport wings are placed at position 1 and
position 3 each.

position 3. The upper unit is opened to show more details.
