X Offset / Y Offset defines the position of
the rectangle.
Unit allows the user to select from a list
the unit of measurement for the
specification of the rectangle.
Width / Height allow the user to set the
dimension of the rectangle for the specific
area.
Clip Size offers a list of formats for the
specific area. The content of the list
depends on the size of the preview scan
area. That means, the smaller the preview
scan area, the shorter the list of available
formats.
C.2.5.1 Virtual Rescan
Virtual rescan means, that scanning parameters can be modified without scanning the
document again.
Modification in the menu screens Option , Properties and Camera will be displayed
in the Format screen.
After scanning with the Preview button the image can be modified. Changes of
parameters such as brightness, contrast or image rotation will be displayed in the preview
area.
The color mode can only be changed to a “lower” color mode. That means, from 24bit
Color to all other color modes but not from grayscale to 8bit Color or 24bit Color.
If it is necessary to scan again, the preview area in the Format screen shows the test
pattern again.
