Displaying shifts
You can check the difference between the keyed-in value (the reference) and the current value, as
well as restoring the reference either to the original value or resetting it to the new value. Proceed
as follows:
(1) Press
[TOTAL
∆
] to display the
Total Shift Menu
for the selected signal source. This
displays the amount of shift from the reference caused by using the control knob or [
ò
] [
ñ
]
keys to adjust the parameters (see Fig. 3-6 below).

(2) Carrier frequency and RF level, as well as modulation depth/deviation and frequency

[AM], [FM]

can be further adjusted using the

[Shift]
key. The amount of shift at each key-press is that of the current step
value.
