The IMBA-8654 Super I/O Enhanced Hardware Monitor also monitors the following

voltages internally:

The IMBA-8654 Super I/O Enhanced Hardware Monitor also monitors the following fan

speeds:

CPU Fan speed

System Fan speed

The values for the above environmental parameters are all recorded in the BIOS

Hardware Health Configuration menu.

2.9.2 Operating Temperature and Temperature Control

The maximum and minimum operating temperatures for the IMBA-8654 are listed below.

Minimum Operating Temperature: 0ºC (32°F)

Maximum Operating Temperature: 60°C (140°F)

A cooling fan and heat sink must be installed on the CPU. Thermal paste must be

smeared on the lower side of the heat sink before it is mounted on the CPU. Heat sinks

are also mounted on the northbridge and southbridge chipsets to ensure the operating

temperature of these chips remain low.
