, the serial ATA ports are defined as

master and slave. They will be defined as either primary or secondary master and slave,

depending on the setting of the

Combined Mode Option

described above. The available

options are:

P0-Master/P1-Slave

P27 = master/P28 = slave

P0-Slave/P1-Master

P27 = slave/P28 = master

IDE (Master) and IDE (Slave)

When entering setup, BIOS auto detects the presence of IDE devices. BIOS displays the

status of the auto detected IDE devices. The following IDE devices are detected and are

shown in the IDE Configuration menu:
