High Security allows you to enable or disable the latent fingerprint image processing.
Since the image of a latent fingerprint and that of a dry fingerprint are both equall
y faint, it is hard to tell dry fingerprints from latent images. Therefore, enabling Hig
h Security will lower the recognition success rate of dry fingerprints as they might
be mistaken to be latent fingerprints.
In a place where many users have dry fingerprints, a better recognition success rat
e can be achieved by adjusting the exposure value higher and/or enabling Adaptiv
e Mode.
4.14 FP QUALITY
Register Quality and Verify Quality are the threshold values for fingerprint image capture in t
he fingerprint registration enrollment process (Register Quality) and verification process (Ver
ify Quality). If the quality value for a capture fingerprint image is below the Register Quality t
hreshold, the authentication (registration or verification) is rejected. By adjusting the thresh
old value, you can control the desired level of fingerprint image quality.

ognition success rate is not guaranteed.
