4) When the firmware update process is complete, DOWNLOAD SUCCESSFULLY! will be displayed. Close the
Autopilot Configuration program, unplug the USB cable and your LiPo battery, then turn the transmitter OFF.
Do not press the Cancel button or turn the quadcopter OFF or unplug the USB cable during the update process
or the firmware update can be corrupted!
Updating the Flight Controller Firmware, Continued:
2) Press the Select Firmware button, then navigate to the location that you saved the firmware download.
3) Click to highlight the firmware file, then press the Open button. The firmware update process will proceed as
follows: ERASE > DOWNLOAD > VERIFY > DOWNLOAD SUCCESSFULLY!

Should you ever need to replace the flight controller or receiver, or any accessories, such as an ESC, etc., follow the
diagrams in this section to orientate the flight controller correctly and make all the electrical connections.

If you should ever need to replace the flight controller, make sure that you install it in the orientation shown
in the diagram above. The Motor, Gimbal and GPS plugs should be toward the front of the quadcopter. The
quadcopter will not fly correctly if the flight controller is mounted backwards.
GPS DOME ORiENTATiON
If you ever need to replace the GPS dome assembly, verify that you orientate correctly during installation.
• There are four mounting holes on the bottom of the GPS dome that hold the two halves together. Two holes
are closer together and two holes are farther apart. When installed on the quadcopter the GPS dome should be
orientated with the two holes that are closer together toward the front of the quadcopter.
• The Black plug should be plugged into the GPS-B port in the flight controller and the Red plug should be plugged
into the GPS-R port in the flight controller.
