1) Connect the quadcopter to your PC or Laptop and open the Autopilot Configuration program. For more information,
see the Autopilot Configuration Program section on pages 23 through 26.
2) After connecting and opening the Autopilot Configuration program, press the Open USB button. A USB Connected

Adjust Transmitter Settings, Continued:
FLIGHT-MODE
- This value displays the Flight Mode that is assigned to the current Flight Mode Switch position.
You are able to verify which Flight Modes are programmed to the
Flight Mode Switch positions by moving the Flight Mode Switch
and seeing which Flight Mode is displayed.
STICK LAYOUT
- This option allows you to select the control stick
mode layout display, so you can view the current status of the
control stick positions. When the control sticks are centered, the
indicators should all be Green. If any indicators are Red when
the control sticks are centered, you should first verify that the trim
switches are all centered. If after centering the trim switches
there are still Red indicators, the control sticks should be
calibrated. For more information, see the Calibrating the Control
Sticks section on page 34.
The included transmitter operates in Mode 2, so you should select Mode 2 prior to checking the calibration
settings. This function only changes the Stick Layout screen. It does not change the actual transmitter Mode.

Your Mars series quadcopter features a Failsafe function, that when activated, commands the quadcopter to return
to its Home Point and land (Return to Home function). The Failsafe function will activate automatically if the quadcopter
should exceed the altitude and/or distance limits in the Autopilot Configuration programming or if the RF signal
between the transmitter and receiver fails. For information about the Return to Home function, see the Using the Return
to Home function section on page 22.
