8-19-20 Factory Reset the Device

Users can format the MircoSD card as follows:

Press the Menu button to open the main menu.

2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the General tab opens.

3. Press right on the Thumbstick to access sub-tabs.

4. Press down on the Thumbstick until Restore tab is highlighted.

5. Using the touchscreen, tap Restore sub-tab.

6. Tap Confirmed to perform a factory reset. Tap Cancel to cancel operation.

7. Press the Back button exit the main menu.

8-19-21 Device Software Upgrade

The device may periodically need a software upgrade or patch. Users can update

to the latest software version as follows:

Contact customer service to receive the latest software upgrade or patch.

2. Put the latest version of APK upgrade package file in the path: ...\IrCamera\

memory device\GCamera\update.

3. Press the Menu button to open the main menu.

4. Press down on the Thumbstick until the General tab opens.

5. Using the touchscreen, tap Software Upgrade sub-tab.

6. Tap Application Upgrade.

7. Tap Install to perform the upgrade. Tap Cancel to cancel operation.

8. Press the Back button exit the main menu.

PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET ERASES CUSTOMIZED USER

CONFIGURATIONS STORED ON THE DEVICE AND RESTORES THE ORIGINAL

DEFAULT SETTINGS PROGRAMMED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE PROCESS

CANNOT BE UNDONE. PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET WILL NOT ERASE

IMAGES STORED TO THE INTERNAL STORAGE OF THE DEVICE. PERFORMING

A FACTORY RESET WILL NOT ERASE IMAGES STORED TO THE REMOVABLE

SD CARD.

THE UPGRADE PROCESS TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES. ENSURE THE DEVICE IS

CHARGED BEFORE UPGRADING. IF THE DEVICE LOSES POWER DURING THE

UPGRADE, THE UPGRADE WILL FAIL AND THE DEVICE MIGHT BE UNUSABLE.
