I-CAM 380/I-CAM 640 P-SERIES USER MANUAL

IT IS POSSIBLE TO RESTORE THE DEFAULT GLOBAL PREFERENCE SETTINGS

BY PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET.

WHEN PASSWORD PROTECTION IS ENABLED USERS MUST ENTER THE

PASSCODE TO POWER ON THE DEVICE. USERS SHOULD FOLLOW THEIR

COMPANY’S SAFETY AND SECURITY PROTOCOLS WHEN ASSIGNING

PASSWORDS TO EQUIPMENT.

8-19-3-4 Restore Default Preference Settings

Users can restore the default global preference parameters as follows:

Press the Menu button to open the main menu.

2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Preference Settings (abbreviated

Pref Setting) tab opens.

3. Using the touchscreen, toggle the Default Preferences (abbreviated Default

Pref) to the On position by tapping the switch. The switch turns green when

active.

4. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.

8-19-4 Password Protection Settings

8-19-4-1 Enable Password Protection

The device can be assigned a 6 digit passcode to protect it from unauthorized

use. The passcode will need to be entered on device start up.

Assign a passcode as follows

Press the Menu button to open the main menu.

2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Password Locked tab opens.

3. Using the touchscreen, tap Turn on Password (abbreviated Turn on PW)

sub-tab.

4. Tap Set Password. Keyboard appears.

5. Use the keyboard by tapping the touchscreen to input preferred passcode.

Tap Cancel to cancel enabling password.

6. Re-enter the passcode. Passcode is saved and enabled automatically.

Settings screen closes to the main menu.

7. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
