condition

cartridge

 

or

 

the

 

magnetic

 

tape

 

and

 

to

 

direct

 

you

 

to

 

the

 

procedure

 

you

 

must

 

follow

 

to

 

remove

 

the

 

cartridge.

 

 

 

Attention

 

v

   

Before

 

using

 

this

 

procedure,

 

you

 

must

 

have

 

exhausted

 

all

 

other

 

means

 

of

 

removing

 

the

 

tape

 

cartridge

 

from

 

the

 

drive.

 

Use

 

this

 

procedure

cannot

 

remove

tape

 

cartridge

using

 

any

 

other

customer

cannot

inform

 

the

 

customer

 

that

 

certain

 

failure

 

conditions

 

diagnostics

 

will

 

be

 

performed

 

to

 

test

 

the

 

drive

 

for

 

continued

 

use.

mid-tape

 

recovery.
